I like introducing the learner profile to our students. The learner profile that I think relates to me the most is “caring”. I care about the students at our school. I love sharing in their first experiences. Kindergartners enter school with enthusiasm and I
enjoy watching them grow up and learn through the years. I am always proud of the students when they leave McGraw as knowledgeable, principled, risk takers. I do not stop caring once a student leaves my classroom or school. I look forward to celebrating their successes in the future.
The person that I admire, who reflects the caring profile, is my grandmother, Adela Keuter. My grandma has a way of making you feel like the most important person in the world.
I love watching the students grow up at McGraw. I believe in the IB program because it allows children to reach their own potential.
I love spending time with my adult children. My first grand baby was born this summer so she has become a wonderful new hobby for me.
It's so hard to choose just one. One of my favorites is the book "One" by Kathryn Otoshi and "Only One You" by Linda Kranz.
I enjoy playing Words With Friends and Candy Crush. I also have a grandmother who lived to be 101, Her birthday was on July 4th.
Maybe not a quote, but a thought...
How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are? When I am in my classroom, I love being an inquisitive child right beside the students.
I am proud to be an IB workshop leader and site visitor. It has brought me opportunities for travel around the world. I love sharing my passion with other IB educators.
